Waikiki Condos for Sale

Living in Waikiki isn't for everyone. But if you like being close to the action, Waikiki won't disappoint. You will have the widest array of shops, restaurants, and entertainment all within walking distance. There are parades down Kalakaua Avenue almost every weekend. The beach at Waikiki will be busy, but its soft sand and gentle waves make it a great place to enjoy the warm Pacific Ocean. You can take a surf lesson, try standup paddling, go for a swim, or just soak up the sun.

A walk down the beach in Waikiki is like a quick trip around the world. You may find yourself in Asia, hearing people speak Japanese, Chinese, or Korean. Then suddenly you are in Europe with families conversing in German, Italian, or French. The world loves to visit Waikiki, but you can live there!

Most homes in Waikiki are high-rise condominiums. There are a few low-rise condos and even fewer single family homes. The majority of the condos in Waikiki are older, built in the 1950s, 60s, and 70s. The newer buildings you will want to consider are Allure Waikiki, completed in 2009, The Watermark, finished in 2008, and the Waikiki Landmark, built in 1992. There are also some luxurious condotels. The Trump Tower is very popular for those wanting an income-producing property that they can use from time to time. It was opened in 2009. There is also the Ritz-Carlton Residences. The first tower was finished in early 2016 with tower two still a couple years from completion.

A quick search of active listings in Waikiki will likely turn up 500 or more condos for sale. You will definitely need the assistance of an experienced local Realtor to help you wade through all the opportunities.
